I’m still riffing on the gorgeous spring morning light.
I love seeing everything coming out this time of year — the sloe blossom, new needles on the Japanese larch, catkins on the trees, and on the woodland floor celandines, the first signs of foxgloves and one plant that I’ve noticed for a few years now but have only just identified — golden saxifrage (I think). That coupled with the wall of sound of the dawn chorus makes this an absolutely magical time of year.
