First Light on the Pines

Morning all. I’m still having a hard time getting back into posting regularly. I’ve had this awful bug for the last 3 weeks and had several days off work (for the first time in years) and it brought me to my knees. Feeling about 85% better now, so hoping I’m at the end of it. This one’s more of a mood piece than a traditional landscape. I was walking the dog the other morning and looking up at the pines, I just adored the way the day’s first rays of sun were catching the underside of the highest boughs. Such a subtle light that was tricky to capture, but I kind of got it.
