This shot on the Waun Gyrlais heath with Cribarth in the distance gives me such a sense of peace. It was a cold but calm early evening and everything seemed very still. Whilst it’s not overly dramatic, I do love the sky in this one — that twilight blue tone graduating into dusky pink; that cloud bank approaching in the centre; and of course, the moon is a focal point. Plus, there’s that angular separation in the centre which I can’t explain, but which is fascinating all the same.
