Waking to snow, I packed my rucksack and headed out into it. Up onto Cycle Route 43, then through the forestry on the edge of Nant Helen open cast mine, all the way to Caehopkin. Whilst overcast when I set out, on the return, the sun started to break through and I was treated to this gorgeous view of Caehopkin in the valley below, with the mist drifting in and the snow-capped peaks of Fan Gyhirych and the Brecon Beacons on the horizon. What a moment!
