Moody Winter Morning Skies Over Penrhos, Ystradgynlais

Sunrise clouds of yellow and orange loom over the houses of Brecon Road in Penrhos, Ystradgynlais.
There's an almost otherworldly glow when the weather is like this. It has that vibe of looming snowfall, though it just remained a bit damp that day.

Moody winter morning skies up in Penrhos. There’s an almost otherworldly glow when the weather is like this. It has that vibe of looming snowfall, though it just remained a bit damp that day. I deliberately pushed the dwellings right to the bottom in this shot. My aim to draw the eye from the clouds to the foreground. To me it enhances the sense of scale — especially with Nant Helen dwarfed on the horizon.
