May Morning Rainbow

So far, May has been a string of failed attempts to kick-start summer. The winter has felt long. Whilst we have been blessed with some recent dry weather, the days have often been chilled by strong winds. Each sunny period has been fleeting before the changable weather and cold steps in again.

That said, the changeable weather has presented some good opportunities for capturing uncommon light. I’m willing to put aside the annoyance of not quite knowing whether to put an extra layer on in the mornings or not for the anticipation of capturing interesting light.

Did anyone catch the rainbow yesterday morning? It was a blink-and-you’ll miss it affair. I love seeing how the light plays with the beeches around the rugby club area through the seasons.
