Dawn Skies Over Waun Gyrlais

Good to have a dry week so far. There’s been a real chill in the air in the mornings though, sometimes accompanied by a cold wind. Spring has really shifted a gear now and it seems the new foliage is bursting out all at once. The skies have been interesting this week, often starting off largely overcast then gradually clearing to a display as the sun rises. I’ve photographed this view countless times and it never gets old for me. I think the Black Mountain on the horizon is a sort of anchor point, and I love the way it glows gold in certain light.
