One of my favourite photos. After spending an afternoon enjoying some rare January sunshine on the shores of Llyn Brianne I was presented with this stunning dusk view on the walk back to the dam car park.

On the cusp of sunset with a hint of orange on the northern horizon, it was a perfect mix of warm and cool tones. The low winter sun provided the last vestiges of warmth, casting a firey light over the Japanese Larches on shoreline. As the temperature rapidly dropped, a bank of evening fog crept silently over the calm waters.
